I recently (Saturday 8th) visited Braeburn Motors with a view of buying a BMW 1 Series,. as a lone lady going to see a second hand car, I was quite apprehensive. However as soon as I arrived, Nick put me completely at ease. No pressure selling, the car was presented exceptionally well, very informative about the cars history, and the recent work they had done to get it to a Braeburn Motors standard. It stood out to me that this Company ethos is to sell excellent cars at a good price, and their reputation in doing do is FAR more important to them than making an extra buck! I would highly recommend to anyone, and the next time I am in the need of a new car, I will certainly go back.

From first contact to test driving to buying and after care, it’s all been first rate. I highly recommended Braeburn Motors.

One thing I’ve always appreciated is a good and ideally solo test drive and this was no problem, “here’s the keys, take it for as long as you want”. Music to my ears.

Agreed a price and I’d pointed out some minor things that ideally I’d like to be sorted (brake discs and a missing sunglasses holder) and when I agreed a collection date all the discs and pads had been done and the car serviced. Perfect. The sunglasses holder was posted to my house shortly after and I was happy to fit that myself.

I then had an issue with the engine, nothing serious, just a sensor was failing, again no issue, no questions asked, got it diagnosed locally sent a estimate booked it in and Braeburn picked up the invoice.

Honestly it’s rare to get service as good as this, it’s been very refreshing, less 2nd hand car salesman, more chatting about cars with a friend.

If I need another car I’ll be back, and I’ll recommend their services to others.

Franz is a genuinely nice guy, not a pushy salesman at all. He's been in the motor trade for a decent amount of time but has recently started up solo - so has brought loads of experience with him. He's honest and helpful, and didn't seem to be selling anything with dodgy histories or that had been neglected.

Car is all good a couple of weeks later. Would recommend him to anyone looking!
